Inter have been quiet on the transfer market after completing the Tajon Buchanan deal and will mostly work around the fringes in the final ten days of the window. They will likely bid farewell to another midfielder after partying ways with Lucien Agoumé, who joined Sevilla on loan with an option to buy. Stefano Sensi is very close to Leicester City, TuttoSport informs (via OneFootball).

The three parties are on the verge of striking a deal. He’s very keen on the destination, especially due to Enzo Maresca’s presence. He has just six months on his contract with the Nerazzurri. The Foxes will pay around €2M including bonuses tied to his number of appearances and a possible Premier League promotion.

However, Leicester City needed to part ways with a player before finalizing the addition of Sensi. Cesare Casadei’s early return to Chelsea could be enough to unlock it.

The 28-year-old stayed put in Milan after a couple of loan spells but has featured for just 65 minutes through four appearances. He starred for Monza and Sampdoria in recent campaigns. He has often been hampered by physical problems.

Inter paid €25M to sign Sensi from Sassuolo in 2020 but he almost never shined with them. He has played 56 times, logging 4 goals and 4 assists. Despite an ankle fracture, he had a solid spell with the Brianzoli last season but couldn’t find a new home in the summer.
