Former Alabama player is first on the board at his position, per NFL Draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

He developed into one of the best cornerbacks in the Southeastern Conference last year, but is former Alabama standout Terrion Arnold the best on the NFL Draft board at his position?

Daniel Jeremiah, an NFL Draft analyst for NFL Network, has Arnold as his first boundary defender off the board.

The Tallahassee (Fla.) native led the Crimson Tide for pass breakups (12) and interceptions (five) in 2023. Arnold helped Alabama’s defense to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff.

He performed well at the NFL Scouting Combine and his pro day for the Tide. NFL scouts love Arnold’s aggressiveness, physicality, toughness, and ball skills. He plays with confidence on the boundary and many would argue Arnold had a better junior season than his teammate, Ga’Quincy “Kool-Aid” McKinstry. Both project as first-rounders by most draft pundits.

It will be interesting to see when Arnold’s name come off the board.
